Interesting question. I had to test it right away.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work at all with the Switch. It didn't even charge the console, although a PD 3.0 45W network was connected and I didn't get a picture either.

In principle, the adapter also works with Windows 10, but I cannot guarantee whether it will work specifically with the HP Elite X2. You will have to test this yourself, willy-nilly.
