These SSDs are both totally outdated and it is no longer worth buying a Samsung SSD 980. My recommendation is the Seagate FireCuda 530, which is much faster than a Samsung 980 and can withstand up to 2550 terabytes of writing (no other SSD offers this much). Buying a 512 GB SSD is not recommended because the prices are usually too high and the write performance of 512 GB SSDs is also lower than with a 1TB SSD. Seagate FireCuda 530 (1000 GB, M.2 2280)
No, there was no fastening material included. Since every board manufacturer comes up with its own fastening variant, that would make no sense. I've already had M3 screws, clips and something like a "wheel screw" for fastening.
Yes, that is no problem, the clone software packages are prepared for that.
Ja, die passt (max. 1 TB). Quelle: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Yoga/Yoga_C740_14IML?M=81TC0092MZ
Samsung Electronics GmbH Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD is not compatible with the PlayStation 5. A PCIe Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD is required for compatibility with the PlayStation 5. Alternatively, we recommend the 980 PRO Heatsink NVMe™ M.2 SSD. The integrated heat sink ensures low system temperatures even under heavy workloads and thus a reliably high performance. Kind regards from Schwalbach Your Samsung Service Team
Good morning... I can't answer that question. I installed this SSD instead of a mechanical hard drive. It now runs on its own. M.f.G
M-Key is normal for M.2 PCIe x4 NVMe. Your existing SSD also has this, see here and here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2#Formfaktoren_und_Keys https://www.cpumedics.com/samsung-mzvlb256hahq-000h1-256gb-m-2-pcie-nvme-2280-mlc-3d-nand-ssd-solid-state/
Samsung Electronics GmbH Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The Samsung SSD 980 is offered with a maximum of 1 TB. If you are looking for a 2 TB model, please have a look at the Samsung SSD 980 PRO. Kind regards from Schwalbach, Your Samsung Service Team
Its 5 years, thanks for the hint. I gave it further to the responsible department to change it.
