i received it today, the description says "magnetic closure", but it's either not a magnetic closure, or it's so weak that the lid just flips open without doing anything, does anyone have a strong mechanism? or is it that weak for everyone?

In fact, this cover does not appear to be magnetic, and many customers have complained to the manufacturer that there is no magnet.

Hi, I'm not sure because I didn't read anything in the description. Does this product (Samsung Smart View Wallet Cover) have an alarm or sleep function when the cover is opened?

Yes, the display switches on and off. In the top right window, the battery charge, time and date are displayed for a short time. You can also select under Settings whether the device unlocks itself when the cover is opened. However, this only works if a secure lock screen is not set.
