Hello, we also got the TV for our parents and the small Smart Remote was replaced in advance by a large Samsung remote control. Actually, almost any other Samsung remote control will work, so if you have an old one lying around, feel free to test it. We bought the BN59-01315B, but if you need a bigger one, in my experience the AA59-00582A would also work, but it doesn't have the streaming hotkeys. Kind regards
