Problem solved: The Easy setting Box software, which belongs to the monitor, makes everything very slow. It is more or less the bottleneck because it nests directly in the Explorer window. Deactivate the software and that's it. Btw: What the software can do, Windows can do too, so it is not needed at all. I hope to be able to help the next one with this :-)

Yes There are several options, one of which looks like: ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ Means when a window is dragged to the middle, it automatically enlarges and adjusts, same if you drag a window to the left or right, then it is automatically made half the size.

This will actually be due to the graphics card, according to Geforce the maximum supported digital resolution for the GTX 560 is 2560x1600.

So, the outer dimensions of the screen are 119 cm x 36.5 cm. The total depth of the curvature with stand at the back measures 33 cm. The feet at the front protrude another 10 cm. Your table has to be a bit deep so that the mouse mat doesn't collide with it. Furthermore, the pixel size could be finer. I will always buy a screen of this size, but with a higher pixel count.

I have attached the monitor to a "Digitus Full Motion". I am very satisfied with it, I can easily fold the screen to the side or pull it forward if I want to connect something else. Vogel's 3245 would probably also work.

Hi Smilingtree I assume you have changed the display to extended or? :) Maybe asked differently: What do you want to achieve? The same display as on the Surface? Another question: Which cable do you use to connect the docking station to the screen? :)

If you look at more than just pictures, e.g. read through the specifications, you will find the following information: Energy declaration Energy efficiency class (until 2020) B Energy efficiency class (from 2021) G According to the old specifications (until 2020), class B was correct for this appliance. Based on the new one that must be used from 2021, it is now G. The appliance has not become worse, but the classification and meaning of the levels have changed. https://www.heise.de/news/Neues-Energieeffizienzlabel-fuer-Displays-und-Haushaltsgeraete-5048758.html

Office application: I have a 49incher from Samsung with the resolution 5120x1440, and connect my already relatively old Surface with the integrated graphics card. So, with a GTX980 it will certainly work well/better. Gaming: I think the GTX980 will have trouble playing games at high FPS. I used this Samsung (3840x1080) when it came out with a GTX 1080Ti and couldn't get high FPS. However, it was games like AC Origins, AC Unity etc that are already very GPU intensive. Shooters like Battlefield could run acceptably though. My recommendation: your GTX 980 is already relatively old, i.e. at some point you will have to replace it with a newer one from the 30 series (the 20 series is not worth it in terms of price/performance ratio). So you'd better invest a few hundred CHF more in a 49-inch screen with 5120x1440 resolution. You won't regret it in terms of office work, and for gaming you can always lower the resolution. FYI: in the home office I use a Samsung 49 inch, 5120x1440 (+Surface 4Pro). In the office I have 2x monitors. I much prefer my home office setup :-). For gaming, I have a gaming PC with a 3080 OC card, even the card has trouble with certain games...although my CPU is also getting old (i7-6700K).
