I don't think so. The S8 is already fast enough and has expandable memory. If the demand from the community were to be very high, Digitec could offer an import device that would probably have a poor price-performance ratio.

Yes, this is possible. However, the smartphone must first be activated with a European SIM card to remove the region lock. (Not SIM lock, that would be the blocking of other networks than those of the mobile phone provider. For example, when taking out a subscription).

All the phones we sell have no restrictions and are functional with all operators in Switzerland. However, it is possible that a European regional block is installed as standard.
To be able to unlock it and use the phone anywhere in the world, a manipulation must be done before leaving. You need to insert a Swiss or European SIM card and make a call from Switzerland for about 5 minutes. Once the call has been made, you will be able to use the phone in all countries.

Please note that there are two variants of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+: one with Dual SIM option and one without. You can recognise the devices by the addition of "Duos" in the product name. Consequently, the product where you left your comment is NOT a Dual SIM smartphone.

I have an S8 from Digitec. But I can't confirm the unlimited Google drive. Except for google photos, which everyone has.
Both my S7 and my S8+ offer the option for WIFI calling and this should work despite the swisscom contract. For fire or not, I recommend you to ask the customer service.
