Compared to my mouse from the "Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop", the clicks are rather loud and "clicky".

Difficult question, a bit louder than an Apple keyboard I would say. However, the clicking doesn't bother me at all... the comfort is what makes me use this mouse. I am very happy with the product.
The question has NEVER come up for me. Even with the standard mice in the past, I never had the need to replace the ball.
Unless the unlikely situation arises that it gets lost during cleaning or is spontaneously eaten by the dog when rolling away... New purchase of the mouse... And possibly also the dog... Sorry:/

As far as I know, the trackball does not have Bluetooth. The data sheet doesn't say anything about it either. You need a Logitech Unifying Receiver for it.
The Bluetooth:Yes in the specification is probably a mistake and should be corrected by Galaxus.

No, unfortunately not. Logitech practically no longer makes left-handed versions of their most popular products, as they used to. A similar product would be the Elecom EX-G, which is available as a left-handed version (item number M-XT4DRBK), unfortunately not available at Digitec or otherwise in Switzerland. Seen on Amazon or Ebay.

Fat helps.... I always use normal Nivea cream.... so treat the blue ball with it, the others just clean normally.... helps for years;)
