I bought this headset and the Creative Sound Blastee Z. I'm not sure if the sound card is really necessary. Now I wonder if the sound card is really necessary. I don't know what the right settings are .... I need it mainly for gaming. PUBG, for example. Has anyone had any experience? When is a sound card worthwhile and how do you set it up correctly?

Make sure that you have connected the card correctly and then download the official driver and software if necessary, so that you can then adjust the sound the way you like it. Don't forget to select the correct audio channel in the Windows settings. http://support.creative.com/scripts/getProd.aspx?id=21402 I listened to music on my Macbook with a standard sound card for a long time and then switched to a PC with a better integrated sound card. Together with a pair of studio headphones, the difference is clearly audible to me, but don't expect another world wonder. It is a fine difference. I don't use surround. Consciously not. Because you can only simulate surround with headphones, and only with the software. For PUBG, I never had any problems with stereo sound.

Hello I have the headset but since a few days it has a loose contact or something at the volume control. I haven't had the headset for half a year and I don't understand how this can happen... There are always short circuits in the headphones which is relatively unpleasant for the ears. Do I have to send them back in this case?

Can anyone tell me whether the microphone can be bought somewhere as a spare part, as it can be connected via aux...? Unfortunately, I have lost it and am now wondering whether I can buy it separately or whether I would have to buy the whole headset again?

Hello everyone i'm not happy about the Headset i have right now and i'm looking for a new one and that would be the Revolver s or the Hyperx clould Alpha and i can't decided right now which one i should get. i play cs go and rainbow six siege so hearing footsteps is important for me and a great mic too. can someone help me which one should i get?

I have the HyperX Cloud 2, which (I think) is pretty similar to the Cloud Alpha, since 2 1/2 years and I also play CS:GO and some R6. I can hear literally everything in CS:GO. The Headset is also very comfortable. So I recommend you the Cloud Akoha, but i've never tested it before.

Good day I have had this headset since yesterday, but now I have a problem. As soon as I connect the headset, I hear a soft hissing noise. Adults have not heard this noise, but younger people have heard it very well. Is this a technical defect or is it normal? I have already downloaded the latest drivers.

Good evening Anno20001 If Dolby Surround Sound 7.1 is activated, you may hear a slight hissing noise. If you have activated this function, I recommend that you deactivate it and test whether you still hear a soft hiss. You can deactivate the function on the control unit on the cable, if activated the button lights up red, otherwise it does not light up at all.
