I bought this headset and the Creative Sound Blastee Z. I'm not sure if the sound card is really necessary. Now I wonder if the sound card is really necessary. Make sure that you have connected the card correctly and then download the official driver and software if necessary, so that you can then adjust the sound the way you like it.

I listened to music on my Macbook with a standard sound card for a long time and then switched to a PC with a better integrated sound card. Together with a pair of studio headphones, the difference is clearly audible to me, but don't expect another world wonder. It is a fine difference. I don't use surround. Consciously not. Because you can only simulate surround with headphones, and only with the software. For PUBG, I never had any problems with stereo sound.
