In general, Huawei has two versions. We have the L21 version with fewer bands. However, we suspect that it will still work - even if not really well. In this case, you would have to find out exactly what is available in the region. In the following link you can see with which network the 2 versions work: https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/huawei-p20-lite
Ja. https://www.androidpit.com/huawei-p20-lite-review#review-special-features
No, only the P20 Pro is IP67 and the P20 is IP57.
Hi RoseNGarten19 I just had the P20 Lite automatically upgraded to the Android 9 (Pie) system 3 days ago. But the feature set of Android 9 has been massively cut on these smartphones. Differences are hardly visible! You can find out more here: https://www.netzwelt.de/huawei-p20-lite/169568-p20-lite-android-9-so-stand-rollouts-deutschland.html
Depends on the country. Check the available LTE frequencies in the specifications.
See product specifications! Operating system mobile phone: Android Android Version: 8.0 Oreo
Yep daily. It's quite a cramp... meeeega slow. The phone is sometimes not working at all or very slowly when I'm in navi mode... Generally, the range of functions is very limited... Spotify, navigation and phone... that's really it... I had a Samsung S8 in use for a short time and I had the feeling that it runs much better. The CPU is probably too weak here somehow. A "Best phone for Android Auto" review would be great....
Dual SIM Dual Stand-by
Without, and I also strongly advise against buying a device where you have to tinker with something (instructions are available, but as I said, this is anything but recommended). A better phone would be the Pocophone X3 Pro. It has 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage, better cameras, a very large battery and costs only 259 francs: Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro (128 GB, Frost Blue, 6.67 ", Hybrid Dual SIM, 48 Mpx, 4G)
What do you want to see? I don't quite understand your wish.
Without contract, without SIM lock.
Yes, in my case, with Salt, I can use WIFI calling.
The device is not equipped for a Qi charger, but it is possible to buy an adapter to make it compatible, to be placed on the back of the mobile. However, charging with Qi is twice as slow.
The phone has an internal memory of 64GB, to expand the memory you need a memory card which is not included.
Yes, there are a large number of apps that make this possible. I used the "Phone Clone" app from Huawei and was able to transfer photos, contacts and documents. Apps from the Apple Store cannot be transferred, of course.
Hello Verena1981 If I have understood you correctly, you want to know whether the mobile phone has a so-called SIM lock. No, you can use the device with all providers in Switzerland. No matter if Swisscom, Salt, Sunrise ect. Greetings John
There is no difference between the models sold by Swisscom and the others, including those sold by Digitec. The only difference is the price, which is always overpriced at Swisscom and hidden in the subscription fees.
Yes, you can use a MicroSDTM card. Unfortunately, you can then only use a nano-SIM slot.
Unfortunately, we cannot answer this question because we have not been able to try it out in such a form. However, I will post the question in the community, and perhaps a user can help you further.
is the memory of the huawei p20 pro expandable like some other manufacturers or really only dualsim?
Memory is expandable, but then occupies the 2nd sim slot.
Hello Is the app compatible? I don't know, I can't answer that. The Huawaei has its own migration tool, which works fine.
Yes, no problem.
Here are a few test images to evaluate for yourself: https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p20_lite-review-1767p5.php Yes it can record 4k videos, but they are scaled up, see more here: https://www.gsmarena.com/vidcmp.php3?idType=3&idPhone1=9098&idPhone2=8857&idPhone3=9107
No, the P20 Lite does not support wireless charging. This feature has been omitted in favour of maximum battery capacity and special (wired) fast charging technology. https://www.giga.de/smartphones/huawei-p20/tipps/das-huawei-p20-kabellos-laden-geht-das/ https://www.huaweiblog.de/news/huawei-qi-eigene-wireless-charging-loesung/
The battery should be a little bigger.with intensive use it lasts me about 10h
Unfortunately, I still don't know exactly what you mean by "download everything" and "new". You can download additional apps from the Google Playstore just like any other smartphone. The product is new and in its original packaging. I do not recommend that you pre-configure the product for someone else. To download apps, a user account with email and other data is required, which should preferably be that of the ultimate owner of the smartphone. PS: To download Fortnite on an Android smartphone, you need to go to fortnite.com/android on the smartphone itself and then download the app, because as far as I know it is not available in the Playstore (because Google takes too much of the profit share of an developer). PPS: So more information. Apparently Fortnite won't run on this smartphone because the graphics chip is too weak for it. Attached is a list of compatible smartphones: https://epicgames.helpshift.com/a/fortnite/?s=android&f=what-android-devices-are-compatible-with-fortnite-on-mobile&l=de
