I can't tell you exactly, but I have 65 units in use at the moment (in my holiday flat) and have no problems with them.

Hello Zwickki Yes you can, but not just like that, you have to go through a server. Or in other words, it costs a small fee (around 25 euros/year). It's called Cloud Matic, www.meine-homematic.de should be able to give you more info. Greetings

The central unit can be operated with a PoE splitter (e.g. Edimax GP-101SF) on 5V.
