Yes, both versions of the Nuance Power PDF (Standard) programme are supplied. I have both in use. Really ingenious application.

Sure, quality is good. A dedicated, high-quality photo scanner is still better, but compared to similar scanners, this one is very high quality.
The backing film is included. However, the paper feed is only for A4 portrait format. The A3 can be folded once and placed in the backing sheet and scanned.

No, this is done automatically, the pages do not have to be rotated manually. And it is also recognised whether the reverse side contains any text at all or not. However, for documents that are semi-transparent or invoices with perforated EZS, the blank reverse side is also scanned. But the erasing works well in the software.

No, that is not possible. As far as I know, the scanner does not work autonomously. It needs a connection (via USB or WLAN) with a computer on which the ScanSnap software is installed. However, using the ScanSnap Connect app (iOS, Android), it should work via smartphone (scan and then print).

The scope of delivery includes Scansnap software (Scansnap Manager, Scansnap Organizer, Scan to mobile) and Nuance software (Power PDF Standard for Windows; PDF Converter for Mac). Both are on a DVD included in the delivery.
Yes, the Nuance Power PDF is also in French. It contains Nuance Power PDF Standard / Nuance PDF Converter for mac. It is compatible with Mac, Windows 7 and 10.
JPEG is supported. Unfortunately, I have no information on TIFF. For photos, I would rather recommend a flatbed scanner.
