It does. But only when a supplied driver is installed. For normal use, this is completely ok. For certain applications, however, native support of the adapter is necessary. Because with such an installed driver, the Ethernet interface can only be integrated into the system late in the boot process. There are also USB Ethernet adapters for MacOS that work without drivers and support plug-and-play.

Unfortunately, this adapter has not yet been tested with the Switch.
