Since everyone here is asking if it's the new version: Ordered on 18 November - it's the new version, built August 2023, red silicone sock on the hotend (i.e. new hotend), modified packaging (more foam). I didn't disassemble the extruder for testing, the other features are enough for me.

Is the K1 updated by Creality being sold or does the stock still consist of models with the initial defects? (Hotend heating issues etc.)

The first one had a visibly bent Hot-end and defect screen cable connector. I couln't use it. Digitec took it back and delivered a new one the next day. I will unpack it this evening. The $2.95 Vanguard K1 Power Boost Kit Plus came in the mail after only a week. If the new printer is in good working order. I wil install the new Hot-end, extruder, and Ai Camera. I will also write a new post if everything works out.
