Do I have to use the backplate of the board when installing another cooler (Alpenföhn) or replace it with the plate of the cooler?

For AMD Socket AM4, the original backplate can be used.

Does Digitec offer the service to perform a BIOS update so that a Ryzen 5000 can be mounted? Because this motherboard only boots with older Ryzen.

A small note for those who want to install a Ryzen 5 3600 on it. The standard fan of the processor does not fit the dimensions of the holes or backplate. An additional fan is therefore required.

I can't confirm that. I was able to install the Ryzen 5 3600 with the supplied fan without any problems and it has now been in operation for over half a year.

Yes, the motherboard supports AM4 sockets, the Ryzen 5 3600 has an AM4 socket. LG
