Hello Nathan NO, this monitor is NOT compatible with the PS4 Pro if you want 4K display. It does say in the specs that it is HDCP compatible, but unfortunately it does NOT support HDCP 2.2. Bought this monitor and returned it when it didn't work! I then bought the following monitor: ASUS MG28UQ This one supports HDCP 2.2. But the specs of this monitor do not explicitly state that it supports HDCP 2.2. It only says that it has an HDMI 2.0 input, which doesn't necessarily mean that it supports HDCP 2.2, but it increases the chance of HDCP 2.2 support. But it does, don't worry. I connected the PS4 Pro with a 4K HDMI cable and it looks really cool! Have fun with it! Chris
As far as I know, the PS4 does not have a display port. It is possible to connect the PS4 via HDMI cable (a normal one) but then the monitor frequency at 4K would only be 30Hz and that is unplayable.
You can find the corresponding cables under the following link: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/video-kabel-295?f=137576&tagIds=77-533-532
With HDMI you get 1080 with 60 hz, 4K with 30 hz 😕
Thank you for pointing that out. I passed it on for review and correction. :)
Thanks for the info! By the way, you can report incorrect specifications directly on the product page. Product page -> Specifications -> Show more -> Scroll down -> Report wrong data -> And then change the corresponding entry.
Professionals would certainly switch to a better screen, but for home users it is always sufficient. It always depends on whether your PC has the necessary connections and the graphics card can output a sufficiently high resolution. All major graphics card manufacturers will certainly offer drivers for Windows 7.
Only via DisplayPort 3840x2160 @60hz are possible. The 1.4 HDMI outputs only support 3840x2160 @30hz.
I have bougth two of those (one for each of screen) : Arctic Z1 Basic (Tisch, 13 - 32 ", 1) If you want a wallmount, take this one : Arctic W1B Wandhalterung (Mur, 13 - 30 ", 1)
I have already tried it on a 13" Retina, same year of manufacture. It only worked when the laptop screen was closed, otherwise the picture flickered constantly.
As long as the onedoick has a DisplayPort output, it should work. However, the resolution of the notebook can be somewhat affected by such docks.
Find Horny Monitors at www. SexyMonitors .com LOL G-Sync is not really necessary, you can achieve similar results with software modifications. It's just a plus if the graphics card can synchronise directly with the monitor so that no irregularities appear in the picture. You can find out more about G-Sync here: http://www.nvidia.de/object/how-does-g-sync-work-de.html. And I'm sure there's enough discussion on the internet about whether G-Sync is really necessary or not these days.
Yes, that is possible.
4K 60Hz only works with Displayport, but with HDMI I think 4K 30Hz should work. Updating graphics drivers is always a good idea.
According to our clarifications, this should not be a problem.
You have to change the graphics card. FullHD is not even possible with VGA. 4K = 4xFullHD
If the monitor is connected via HDMI, only 30Hz are possible. To benefit from 60Hz, the monitor would have to be connected via Displayport.
Input lag is very low at 11.9ms.
For 4K, you need DisplayPort or HDMI. However, note the limits of the FPS, for example for gaming. Just Google It ;)
Yes there is a DisplayPort and a HDMI cable included
Good evening the 60 fps d only works with the dp connector. The sound also works through the dp cable. The sound also works through the dp cable, as long as the graphics card is compatible. Good evening
So I have this wall mount for my 27" monitor: Arctic W1A Wall Mount (Wall, 13 - 30 ", 1) The installation is very simple and you can turn and tilt the screen.
