The Q Acoustics 3030i bookshelf speaker features a large 165mm mid-bass driver, technically based on the cone chassis used in the 3050i floorstanding speaker. The highly efficient 25mm tweeter, mechanically decoupled from the cabinet, also comes from the 3050i. With this technical setup, the 3030i delivers exceptionally powerful and deep bass reproduction, a homogeneous and expressive midrange, as well as a detailed, clear, and spacious high-frequency spectrum. The newly developed 165mm mid-bass driver has a highly precise cone membrane made of impregnated and coated paper, driven by a robust magnetic system. An elastic suspension decouples the tweeters of the 3000i series from the baffle, protecting them from vibrations generated by the woofers. This ensures clean high-frequency reproduction with significantly reduced interference from cabinet vibrations. Like the entire 3000i series, the cabinet of the 3030i features Q Acoustics' unique point-to-point bracing. This computer-assisted method allows the cabinet to be reinforced precisely where needed to prevent unwanted vibrations. With their elegantly rounded cabinets, all models in the 3000i series offer an extraordinary and stylish appearance. The front grilles are magnetically attached, and shiny chrome rings around each chassis contribute to an attractive design.
