The Q Acoustics 3030i bookshelf speaker features a large 165 mm bass-midrange driver, which is technically based on the cone drivers used in the 3050i floorstanding speaker. The extremely powerful 25 mm tweeter, which is mechanically decoupled from the cabinet, also originates from the 3050i. With this technical equipment, the 3030i achieves an extraordinarily powerful and deep bass reproduction, a homogeneous and expressive mid-range and a detailed, clear and spatial high-frequency spectrum. The all-new 165 mm bass-midrange driver has a high-precision cone diaphragm made of impregnated and coated paper, which is driven by a powerful magnet system. An elastic suspension decouples the tweeters of the 3000i series from the baffle, thus protecting them from the vibrations emitted by the woofers. This ensures clean tweeter reproduction with significantly reduced interference from cabinet vibration. As with the entire 3000i Series, the cabinet of the 3030i features Q Acoustics' unique point-to-point bracing. This computer-aided process allows the cabinet to be reinforced where necessary to prevent unwanted vibration. With their elegantly rounded enclosures, all models of the 3000i Series offer an exceptional and stylish look. The front covers are magnetically fixed and shiny chrome rings around each chassis provide an attractive design.
