The Purefil PLA-R (Recycling) is made from 100% recycled material. Additionally, recycled spools are used, meaning that used spools are refilled with new material. Therefore, the spool may differ from the image.
Polylactic acid is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is beneficial for PLA filament, but not absolutely necessary. We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament. Furthermore, PLA has significantly more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics during processing. However, the temperature at which PLA begins to soften is relatively low.
