• The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel.
• You can use RDIMM or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is particularly recommended when large memory capacities are required.
• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules should not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or completely upgrade to either RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.
• Memory slots without a processor installed must not be populated.
