Ähnlich wie ihre großen Geschwister präsentiert sich die D5600 als "klassische" Spiegelreflexkamera mit hellem optischen Sucher und selfietauglichem Display. Der Griff bietet größeren Händen allerdings etwas zu wenig Platz – die Finger stoßen dabei ans Objektiv.
Das war ein enges Duell! Am Ende hat die Nikon D5600 die Nase knapp vorn. Sie punktet vor allem mit hoher Bildqualität: Die Fotos der Nikon sind noch detailreicher als die der Canon. Die Stärken der EOS 800D: Sie reagiert ein Quäntchen schneller und hat einen Autofokus, der nicht nur beim Fotografieren blitzschnell reagiert, sondern auch beim Filmen zügig scharf stellt...
Großartige Innovation sieht anders aus. Dennoch ist die Nikon D5600 eine wirklich gute Einsteiger-DSLR für ambitionierte Anfänger. Die Neuerungen zum Vorgängermodell beschränken sich vor allem auf die SnapBridge-Kompatibilität sowie auf neue Touchscreen-Funktionen. Wer sich zwischen der etwa zwei Jahre alten Nikon D5500 und der nur marginal teureren D5600 nicht entscheiden kann, sollte zum neuen Modell...
Die Nikon D5600 bleibt dem Konzept ihrer Vorgänger treu: Sie ist eine kleine, leichte und einfach zu bedienende Spiegelreflex mit hoher Bildqualität. Die wichtigsten Verbesserungen bei der D5600: Ein etwas schnellerer Autofokus sowie die bequeme automatische Bildübertragung aufs Smartphone. Schade nur, dass die D5600 auf 4K Video verzichtet.
