Nikon

Nikon Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of cameras, lenses and other precision optical instruments such as microscopes, binoculars and steppers. Nikon has been building lenses since 1925. In September 2009, Nikon celebrated 50 million lenses built; since 1917, Nikon has been gathering experience in building optical glass. Nikon also offers a wide range of accessories for its film and digital system cameras, such as the Speedlight flash units. Its headquarters are in Tokyo, Japan.

Nikon has been actively represented on the European market since around 1961, when Nikon AG Switzerland was founded in Zurich. It's one of the world's leading photographic technology companies.
