The NetPeppers shrink splice protection guarantees secure protection against external influences such as moisture or mechanical stress. It offers even better protection against bending due to its integrated steel pin compared to crimp splice protection. The orange coloring aids in inserting the fiber into the sleeve opening without obstructing the light from a red light source (VFL) during troubleshooting. The sleeves meet the requirements of the EN 50411-3-3 standard. They are suitable for fiber diameters up to 900 µm (secondary coating) and can be used with any shrink oven of conventional fusion splicing devices.
