The Nighthawk X4S AC2600 WLAN VDSL/ADSL modem router has a built-in, fast DSL broadband modem that is suitable for older ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ connections as well as for lightning-fast VDSL and VDSL2 speeds. The Gigabit Ethernet WAN port is compatible with any Internet service, making it easy to upgrade to a fibre optic connection.

The Nighthawk X4S uses the world's fastest AC WLAN technology, which is already available in the latest mobile devices and is also backwards compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n devices. Thanks to the built-in dual core 1.4 GHz processor, the Nighthawk X4S delivers incredibly fast wireless speeds of up to 2.53 Gbit/s (AC2600 WLAN = 800Mbit/s+1733Mbit/s) and Gigabit Ethernet speeds in the home or local network.

With Quad-Stream Wave 2 Wi-Fi technology, the X4S supports up to four data streams on each Wi-Fi band, maximising speed for faster gaming and clearer HD video streams without buffering. Furthermore, high-performance amplifiers, four high-performance antennas and Beamforming+ technology improve the range and reliability of the router to extend Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones.
