Cat.6 cables are designed for operating frequencies of up to 250 MHz in a shielded version with a braided overall shield and foil shielding for the individual pairs (S/FTP). Cat.6 cables are widely used in professional environments. They are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag.

The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extended periods. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector during installation and removal.
