The Etherline Y from Lapp Kabel is a highly developed network cable specifically designed for industrial applications. It meets the requirements of the standards EN 50173-3 and ISO/IEC 24702, making it ideal for secondary and tertiary cabling in machines, devices, and control cabinet wiring. With a maximum cable length of 100 meters for 100 Mbit/s, it is optimal for EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP applications. The cable is suitable for installation in open cable trays without protective tubing and can be used in both dry and damp environments. It offers comprehensive shielding against interference signals and is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. The cable construction includes solid bare copper wires and a robust overall shielding that ensures reliable data transmission.
