Fränkische Press Ring Seal Kabu-Seal 110/150: additional details
Kabu-Seal is a pipe seal made from a solid rubber core with a soft thermoset elastomer coating in yellow and stainless steel press flanges. The seal is used for gas and pressure water-tight building entry of Kabuflex® R plus pipes. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which creates a seal against the cable protection pipe and the core drilling up to 1.5 bar water pressure. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the Kabu-Seal press ring sealing insert sits securely against pressing water and gas in the annular space even at very low tightening torque (2 Nm). Installation can be successfully carried out without special tools (torque wrench) using visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the press flanges.
