The Premium PET-G filament from Spectrum is a highly advanced material specifically designed for 3D printing. It is based on glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate and offers remarkable transparency as well as excellent chemical resistance. The printed objects feature high crystallinity, resulting in an almost transparent finish. A standout characteristic of this filament is its virtually non-existent shrinkage and low moisture absorption, which sets it apart from other thermoplastics. Additionally, the Premium PET-G provides excellent creep resistance under continuous load, attributed to the strong adhesion between material layers. It combines the advantages of PLA and ABS, making it ideal for visual and functional prototypes, concept models, as well as the production of semi-transparent enclosures and backlit elements.
