Product details

The 2 TB SATA removable disk cartridge from Dell is the heart of the RD1000 removable disk drive and combines a tough exterior design with an internal shock absorber. The cartridge contains a Serial ATA hard drive with up to 2 TB of native capacity and a 4 TB compressed kit for fast and easy backup of large amounts of information. Simply pop in the removable disk media, select the files or folders you want to protect, then drag and drop them into the directory folder. To restore files, you just have to reverse the process. The drag-and-drop capability provides random access for quick restoration of the files. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems and is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
