The ASUS RT-AC66U is a fifth-generation dual-band Wi-Fi router, currently one of the fastest on the market with a total speed of up to 1.75 Gb/s. It is based on the Broadcom 802.11ac Wi-Fi controller, which operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The 5 GHz band offers a data transfer rate of up to 1.3 Gb/s, making it faster than wired Gigabit LAN connections and three times faster than the 802.11n Wi-Fi standard. The RT-AC66U provides smooth and lag-free multitasking as well as high-speed streaming. Additionally, ASUS AiRadar intelligently enhances the wireless connection to the connected devices, ensuring a future-proof, solid performance.
