The Apple Magic Keyboard comes out on top in the test. Setting it up simply by placing it on a surface couldn’t be easier. It scores highly for its very comfortable typing feel and good key travel. Added to this are useful extras such as the sturdy stand and the practical touchpad, which transform the tablet into a small laptop. Not so great: the price is quite high.

You can quickly attach the Apple Magic Keyboard Folio to the current generation iPad. It fits perfectly and pairs automatically. The keyboard impresses with a very comfortable typing experience and a nice key size. With the integrated touchpad, the Folio exudes notebook charm. Less pleasing are the high weight and the high price. Apple has also dispensed with a backlit keyboard.
