Whether iPhone 13, 13 Pro, Max or mini - the iPhones with their A15 Bionic processor are the fastest of all smartphones. The fastest Android devices with the Snapdragon 888 are not lame, but they cannot find a way past in the overall ranking and even have to let the previous gen-ration of 12 iPhones go.
New in Stiftung Warentest's mobile phone test: 18 current smartphones. Among them are of course Apple's iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. But there are also exciting new Android devices, such as the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, and the Galaxy A52s 5G from market leader Samsung...
The iPhone 13 mini impressed us in the test with its incredible performance in a handy 5.4-inch format. The OLED panel scores with a very high maximum brightness even in the smallest iPhone form factor - although even better values are exemplified here by the Pro models. The dual camera setup takes nice photos, but as with the sibling models, there is hardly any improvement in photo quality compared...
You have to do without a telephoto camera with the normal iPhone 13; the ultra-wide-angle and main camera meet high-end demands. If you're not tied to the Apple universe, you'll find similarly equipped alternatives to the iPhone 13 for less money: the Samsung S21, OnePlus 9 Pro and, with a few exceptions, the Google Pixel 5 are just a few examples...
