Caution: toxic! Akasa now offers the successful case fan as Viper Black, completely in black. This premium PWM fan is already known from the Venom CPU cooler, where it demonstrated its excellent performance and provides an optimal compromise between high cooling efficiency and low noise levels.

The optimized shape of the fan blades is primarily responsible for this. They are S-shaped, which, according to the manufacturer, allows for 30 percent more airflow at the same RPM compared to conventional fans. This, in turn, enables a reduction in speed to decrease noise levels while maintaining the same airflow.

As a result of these efforts, the fan achieves a minimal noise level of practically inaudible 6.9 dB(A) at 600 RPM. However, via the PWM connection and a compatible motherboard, the fan can be accelerated up to 1,900 RPM, moving an impressive 141 m³/h of air. This provides high flexibility, allowing the Black Viper to be used in systems ranging from silent to overclocking setups.

To further reduce noise, four rubber pins are included. These decouple the fan from the case or cooler, preventing vibration transmission.
