The router serves as the interface between KNX installations and IP networks and operates according to the KNXnet/IP specification (Tunneling and Routing). The IPR/S can be used as a fast line or area coupler (Routing). The complete filter table for all main groups (0-31) can be loaded. With the ETS, KNX devices can be programmed via LAN. For this purpose and for additional clients, 5 tunneling servers are available. The IP address of the IPR/S can be set statically or received from a DHCP server. The power supply is provided via 12..30 V DC or alternatively via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802.3af Class 1. As an alternative to the KNX standard communication (Multicast), up to 10 IPR/S 3.1.1 can communicate via Unicast.
