Hello everyone, I really need to build a new PC after almost 8 years. Since I'm not really up to date on the topic anymore, I would be grateful for your feedback on the list below. The PC should last for a few more years, but I would also be happy if the price could be reduced a bit ;) https://www.digitec.ch/de... Best regards, Michael

Good day, At the moment, the GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Pro is only available in the DDR5 variant. Will the DDR4 variant also be available at some point? And why is this not available anywhere?

Hello everyone, I recently built a new "old" AM4 system because DDR5 prices are still too high for me right now. I was able to get a used Ryzen 9 5900X cheaply from a good friend and combined it with a new RX 9070 XT. I play on a 34-inch ultrawide monitor with 3440 x 1440 pixels at 144 Hz. Unfortunately, I am not at all satisfied with the gaming performance. I feel like the difference to my old system (Ryzen 5 3600 + GTX 1660 Ti) is minimal: Lost Ark: I only get around 80 FPS on average. PUBG: Even on the lowest settings, I only get about 120 FPS, and the 1% lows (frame drops) are extremely low. What I have already tried unsuccessfully: BIOS update: It is up to date. Drivers: Chipset and GPU drivers are completely freshly installed. RAM & FCLK: The sticks are in A2/B2. XMP is active. I have also manually fixed the FCLK (memory controller) to 1800 MHz to rule out asynchronicity. The problem: Nevertheless, the system becomes extremely finicky and crashes as soon as I make changes in the BIOS. I almost suspect that the memory controller of the used CPU cannot handle the 1800 MHz FCLK stably, or that the board is acting up with the voltages after 6 years. Therefore, my questions to you: Is it worth switching to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D here? Since the 3D cache performs extremely independently of the RAM clock, I hope for a more stable system (if I downclock the RAM to e.g. 3200 MHz) and finally smooth FPS in Lost Ark and PUBG. At the same time, the question: If anyone is interested in a trade (my 5900X for a 5800X3D, of course with appropriate value compensation), please feel free to contact me! Do you have any other idea why the 5900X is slowing down or crashing so much here? My complete system specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 XT (new) Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming (CMOS battery freshly replaced) RAM: 32GB (2x 16GB) G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 (Slots A2/B2) SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro AIO (CPU & GPU temperatures stable below 80 °C under load) Power Supply: Gigabyte Aorus Elite P850W ICE (850W, 80+ Platinum) Monitor: Lenovo G34W-10 (3440 x 1440, 144 Hz) I am grateful for any input! Best regards

Hi everyone Our trusty PCs with their RTX 2070 Super cards are slowly but surely reaching their limits. So it’s time for an upgrade, and we want to build two new computers. We’ve come up with the following configuration and would really appreciate your collective wisdom: Does this make for a sensible build, or have we overlooked something somewhere? Planned configuration: Ryzen 7 9800X3D ~ CHF 395 be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 ~ CHF 76 ASUS TUF B850-Plus WiFi ~ CHF 166 Kingston Fury Beast 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 ~ CHF 436 Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB ~ CHF 296 ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition ~ CHF 899 be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum 1000 W ~ CHF 180 be quiet! Pure Base 501 Airflow ~ CHF 56 Total ~2,511 https://www.digitec.ch/DE... (Note: We’d like to order everything via Digitec; prices are as at 22–23 June 2026). A comparable pre-built system from JoulePerformance would ultimately have cost us around 1,000 CHF more. That’s why, after five years, we’ve decided to embark once again on the (nerve-wracking) adventure of building our own PC... We’d be grateful for any feedback, suggestions for improvements or simply your support! Best regards from Bern

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with the community my PC configuration that I assembled using components bought here. The idea was simple: build a machine capable of running pretty much any recent game at high settings, if not at maximum. As I'm a bit of a loner here, I don't really have anyone to discuss it with or show it off to, so I'm turning to you 🙂 Small moment of "Swiss luck": I bought the RAM just a few days before a price increase... around 230 CHF. Perfect timing for once. On the cooling side, I replaced the three original Pure Wings 2 fans with better performing Silent Wings 4, and kept the Pure Wings as additional fans at the top of the case. After five months of use, I'm very happy overall. However, I was a little disappointed with the graphics card - it was noisier than I expected. I'd be interested to hear what you think - any improvements, comments or ideas are welcome. Here's the full list of my components: https://www.galaxus.ch/fr... I've also made a short video of the configuration, if you're interested: https://youtu.be/NwAkzWjzaM... Thank you and have a great day!

My Logitech keyboard suddenly stopped working, I sent it in under warranty and Galaxus refunded me the day's price. About 30% less than I bought it 1.5 years ago. When the credit arrived, the same keyboard was more expensive than the refund amount. They didn't want to send me a replacement because none was available. When I asked, this was supposedly Galaxus AGBs, is that true? Amazon offers the same products cheaper and with top customer service. Mediamarkt is a bit more expensive, but everything is done immediately on site without sending it in or anything else.

Hello everyone who knows better I am planning my first DIY build. Will that work? https://www.digitec.ch/de... And yes it has to be white sorry :)

Hello everyone, I want only one keyboard with mouse for my business PC and my private PC in the home office. The PCs are already connected to a monitor (each via display and HDMI connection). To save on cables, I want to use the same keyboard and mouse (both wireless) to operate the PCs. The PCs do not run simultaneously. The answers in https://www.digitec.ch/de... are not what I am looking for (I don't want a KVM). How else can I solve this? Thanks for the help!

Hello everyone I put together a PC some time ago and noticed that the fans sporadically turn very high. Even without any significant load (e.g. downloading 3-4 large files via the browser). CPU ist https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-am5-420-ghz-8-core-prozessor-24667438 CPU cooler https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/be-quiet-dark-rock-4-15940-mm-cpu-kuehler-8192688 Mainboard https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/asus-prime-b650-plus-am5-amd-b650-atx-mainboard-22605358 Case https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/fractal-north-atx-matx-mini-itx-pc-gehaeuse-23351237 Airflow from front to back ensured. I reapplied the thermal paste, but it already looked well distributed. The cooler body itself is practically not warm, but you can feel how slightly heated air is dissipated by the fan. HWInfo shows package temperatures of 70-85° for the CPU! GPU (RTX 4070 Super, is normal at ~30°) I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed. Do you have any tips?

Hi, would it be possible to add the actual number of ports for the product you're looking for to the "PCIe port" section of your computer product search, without having to check each product individually? At the moment, there's only the PCIe version (PCIe 2.0, PCIe 3.0, PCIe 4.0, PCIe 5.0), but not the type of port (x1, x2, x4, x8, x16) which indicates the theoretical maximum bandwidth speed, among other things. For example: PCIe of 5.0 x8 at a theoretical maximum bandwidth of 31.508 GB/s. PCIe 5.0 x16 with a theoretical maximum bandwidth of 63.015 GB/s. or a notification such as PCIe3.0x16 or PCIe4.0x8 or PCIe5.0x4, etc... Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. A similar question was asked here 10 years ago and google also has different results. I would like to know from you. Not to make the preface too long. NAS hard drives are endurance runners and are not designed to be switched on and off frequently (?) Can they be used as backup hard drives? To put it in a nutshell, occasionally copy large or even small amounts of data to the backup hard drive. Once the copying process is complete, I store the hard drive in a drawer. Over the course of the year, I connect it from time to time, also to move new data onto it or to delete data that is no longer required. Is all this also possible with a NAS drive? Greetings

I still have RAM of this type in its original packaging: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/corsair-32-gb-ddr5-6000-kit-werkgeheugen-2-x-16gb-6000-mhz-ddr5-ram-dimm-ram-37993739 If you are looking for exactly this Titanium RAM, have a look around on tutti. Unfortunately, I didn't buy them on digitec and therefore can't sell them here.

Hello, Do you know when these 2 cards will be available for pre-order on the Digitec website? I notice that it's already possible to pre-order them in the US.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to get some swarm knowledge. I can't find a good answer to my question right now. I own an Xbox One that is just over 10 years old. I would now like to replace it. Since I have some games on Steam or Epic, I'm thinking of building a small (about the same size as the console) PC instead of buying a new console. https://www.digitec.ch/de... That's my suggestion so far. What do you think? Does it work like this? Do you see any room for improvement? Thanks for your help.

Hello together I am in the process of putting together a new computer and have created the following watch list. Do these components fit together? One graphics card is missing, I still have an RTX 2060 Super. This will be replaced later. https://www.digitec.ch/de... Thanks for your help :)

Hello everyone, I haven't dealt with PC components that much yet and therefore don't know my way around very well. Do the following components work together or should I change something? https://www.digitec.ch/de... Thanks for your help

2

Hello everyone, I need your advice on my component composition. I have put the following components on a watch list: https://www.digitec.ch/de... Case (ATX) is already available. I would like to replace the rest as in the watch list above. I need the PC primarily for gaming (mainly COD). For the other everyday applications (office, surfing, etc.) it is sufficient anyway. I have a 27" monitor with 1440p resolution (with Nvidia G-Sync). Do these components harmonise with each other? Or do you see something that I should perhaps change? It's been a good while since I put the current PC together myself, so I'm no longer up to date.... Thanks and regards Masterchief1291

Hi everyone I'm looking for a new graphics card for my computer as mine is maxed out for what I need it for. I mainly use LrC and have nothing else on the PC. My GPU and VRAM keep getting to the limit I have also adjusted a lot of settings and brought what but not enough unfortunately, also I have cleaned it with gentle compressed air and brushes and cloths. I read a lot on the internet and often came up with Nvidia GeForce 4060, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm willing to pay up to 800 for the GK alone. I would also replace the power supply if I had to. I have enough space in the case for a GK with three fans. Or should I wait and order a 5070 ti when they are available as mine is still working slowly? Current hardware: GK: Geforce 3070 ti 8GB RAM: Corsair Vengance 2x32 GB 5200MhZ CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x MB: MSI B560 Tomahawk WIFI Power supply: Bequiet Pure Power 12 M 850W Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone, I recently changed my PC case and at the same time upgraded my fans and water cooling. I encountered the following problem: I initially installed a Corsair iCUE H150i water cooling system, but it didn't work at all, it didn't respond at all. So I gave it back and bought a Kraken 360 RGB instead. The Kraken 360 and the new NZXT F120 RGB fans basically work, i.e. they run and can be controlled. To control the RGB lighting, I also bought the NZXT RGB and fan controller V2. Everything is connected correctly, the controller and the fans are recognised and displayed in NZXT CAM, but the LEDs on the fans do not work, they do not light up and are not recognised by the controller. The Kraken 360 also came with an RGB controller. However, when I connect this, my PC no longer starts at all. I also tried this on a second PC with a different power supply unit and the exact same problem occurred there. I am now unsure what to do. I can hardly imagine that both the Corsair water cooling including the Corsair RGB controller and both NZXT controllers are defective. Could it be that I accidentally damaged the mainboard during the conversion? (I can't imagine that, as my PC is otherwise working perfectly). Or is my power supply unit possibly too old? (Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F, power supply unit: Corsair RM850x 2018) Or am I missing a step when using the RGB controller? I have connected it both to the power supply and via USB 2.0. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
