Long Island GmbH - Digitec/Galaxus, it can't go on like this

Hello together, I assume many of you are familiar with and dread the provider (third party) Long Island GmbH at Digitec/Galaxus. For all the others: Long Island GmbH is known for asocially high prices (sometimes 250% of the Digitec/Galaxus price - "1") and additionally for cheap Wish crap, which is (of course) also offered for asocially high prices - "2". I am aware that Long Island is not the only provider here (cue Jacob DE, DasWarenhaus), but I find these Wish-like offers very borderline. Now, of course, I ask myself why Digitec/Galaxus allows such offers at all (and now please don't answer with "if the offer is too expensive for you, then don't buy it", dear Digitec employees). Of course Digitec/Galaxus is making a nice profit here, no question. But it really looks like Digitec/Galaxus is more interested in profit than in customer satisfaction. According to your statement, you are "only" the intermediary - "3" - between the offers, but I see you alone in the duty to administer these offers. In addition, "attractive" prices are apparently only a nice-to-have for Digitec/Galaxus - "4" (In the course of a good and profitable cooperation, however, we point out that prices should be competitive and commission and shipping costs should not be added). As already said, these prices are in my opinion simply usury, which is marked as unlawful in the StGB (Art. 157 - "5"). I am not a lawyer, but the following statement already fits the offers of Long Island GmbH: 1. Whoever exploits a person's predicament, dependence, inexperience or weakness of judgement by granting or promising him/herself or another person pecuniary advantages in return for a service which is economically related to the service.(1) Any person who acquires a usurious claim and resells or enforces it shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding five years or to a monetary penalty. 2. (2) If the offender acts commercially, he shall be liable to a custodial sentence of one to ten years. If I am wrong in my assumption here, I would be happy to receive input. So Digitec/Galaxus, I would reconsider publishing certain offers, at least for the sake of the customers. I would also be happy to read your statement on this. Cheers. When will the MSI MPG 322URX QD-OLED finally be on the market?

I have been waiting for this monitor since it was released in December. Some people have already bought this monitor, but on the official MSI website from the USA. Do you know when this monitor will finally be on the market?

    Search Blink(1) USB-Notification Light

Hello I am currently looking for the Blink(1) USB-Notification Light or something similar. The aim would be to use something like this as an additional (visual) notification light for appointments in Outlook. Is there anything like this at Galaxus / Digitec?

    TV / Monitor 4k WHITE ?

I am looking for a monitor or TV with a 32-inch display, 4K resolution (and if possible with integrated speakers, but it doesn't have to be). It is particularly important to me that it is available in white colour. Any recommendations?

Search office setup for dual 4K monitors with single cable solution

Hello all, I am looking for an optimal office setup that meets my requirements. Maybe you can help me with this. **What I need:** 1. two 4K monitors, each with a 27 inch screen diagonal. 2. a docking station that supports both my HP ZBook 15 G8 and my MacBook Pro (2021) with M1 Max chip. 3. ideally, the setup should be realised via only one cable that both drives the monitors and charges the laptop. **More info - I regularly switch between my business and personal laptops, so a simple switching solution is important. Do you have any suggestions or experience with specific products that meet my needs? Any recommendations are welcome! Thanks in advance!

    Scanner Mouse wanted

Why are there no Scanner Mice available at the moment? Other online stores don't have them in stock either. I don't think I'm the only one looking for a scanner mouse.

    MacBook Air 2019 - HDMI Output 4K@60Hz

Hi there! I am trying to connect an external monitor to my MacBook Air (2019) via USB-C to HDMI (display port on the monitor is unfortunately already occupied). I have already tried several cables and USB-C adapters/hubs, but I only ever manage 4K@30Hz. The monitor (3840x1600, 144Hz) and the HDMI cable are suitable for 4K@60Hz without any problems. I was able to achieve 85Hz resolution with another notebook (Dell) and a USB-C hub. But with the same hub and cable on the MacBook, I can't get more than 30Hz. Do any of you have a similar setup and can recommend a cable or adapter that works? As I understand the specs of the MacBook Air, the notebook should be able to handle this resolution without any problems. Or have I overlooked something? Thanks a lot! ✌️

    Docking station or Switch ? 2 monitors / 1 notebook / 1 PC

Hello all I know this topic has been mentioned several times before, but I would like to set up the following. I have 2 monitors connected to a desktop PC. I would like to operate a notebook on both screens and with the keyboard and mouse. The whole thing should also be connected with a LAN cable and not via wireless. What makes sense ? Docking station or switch ? Thank you for your opinion.

Can anyone recommend usable PC speakers?

Hoi zäme, I've been looking for good quality PC speakers for a long time, primarily for video games and YouTube. I currently use the monitor speakers - quality is rather poor. I still have a JBL Quantum One headset, which I use from time to time, but I pay for the better sound quality with a set of hot ears after one hour at the latest... especially in summer when it's 30 degrees. The more I look into the topic of PC speakers, the more frustrating the whole thing becomes. Test and experience reports make your hair stand on end, especially Logitech's cheap Chinese products are really bad. Coil whine, noise, highs that are only fake... It's really sad what kind of junk is being advertised. The Teufel Concept C seems to be the best, but I'm not that far away from a stereo system in terms of price. Is the demand so low that no manufacturer has the idea of putting together something decent without making your blood flow out of your ears? How have you arranged yourselves sound-wise? Do you all play with headphones?

    HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e

Hello, can anyone tell me why the installation of this printer is not working? I did everything according to the instructions and the app also says that the printer is ready, but when I print something, it hangs up on the print job. I was able to print a single page until now, but now nothing works.

    Affordable Mini LED Monitors

Currently, only 11 different OLED or mini-LED gaming screens are available on Digitec, and only from CHF 900 :( However, there has been a lot of change here lately. Could the "Cooler Master Tempest GP27Q" or the "KTC 27 Inch Mini LED monitor (1440P 165Hz/144Hz)" be added to the range? With prices of around CHF 500, these are not only very affordable but also very popular in other countries.

Logitech G Pro X keyboard to be included in the range?

Would it be possible to include the Logitech G Pro X in the normal version, i.e. the non-Shroud edition? I really don't want any Shroud branding. By the way, the pictures are wrong for the Shroud Edition, the normal version is shown. www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-g-pro-x-shroud-de-kabelgebunden-tastatur-16342472 https://www.logitechg.com/de-ch...

USB-C Newbie / How to -> 1 monitor with multiple devices

Hello together The following constellation; 1 monitor with USB-C port 2 laptops with USB-C port Both devices can be connected to the monitor individually via USB-C and work perfectly. Devices are also charged. Now I would like to use the advantages of USB-C and mount a splitter/hub on the monitor. The aim is to connect both devices to the monitor via one USB-C port. Since only 1 device is used at a time, this should work, right? Do I have to use a specific hub/splitter? Thanks for your support.

Failure to meet promised delivery times

What do you think? Shouldn't that be binding and subject to compensation? If Galaxus writes that it will be delivered from stock tomorrow... and then it is ready for dispatch days later, despite payment having been received (credit card)? From a purely legal point of view, there would be different ways... Unfair competition, promise of false facts, which are also not compatible with the terms and conditions! Fight back!
