Water cooling specialist EKWB in crisis: the CEO vows improvement
The Slovenian company EKWB has financial problems. These are also having a negative impact on the corporate climate. The CEO confirms the reports and has taken initial steps to improve the situation.
König has been CEO of EKWB again since February 2024. He has been CEO twice before, most recently five years ago. In this short time, he has already tackled various issues. For example, he has reported errors in taxes in the USA - EKWB has a branch in the States. The company has also sold a building in order to settle some of the outstanding payments.
Even if König's statement is well-intentioned, it is unlikely to minimise the damage caused. The company's image has been severely tarnished by the whole affair. The large stocks will certainly not sell any better. There is probably a threat of streamlining and downsizing the company.
