Honest customer ratings
Any person registered on Galaxus or digitec.ch can rate products. All opinions, whether positive or negative, help users make decisions. We’re convinced that honest ratings by customers help users reach a purchasing decision and promote discussions within the Community. Therefore, we only intervene in the case of clear violations against the Community terms and conditions. To ensure transparency and traceability, all ratings customers have given are visible in their customer profile.
Submitting reviews and star ratings
Community members can rate all products available on our online shop at the bottom of the respective product detail page. By submitting a product review, customers declare that the review corresponds to their own opinion, is based on their own experience and was submitted in accordance with the rules of conduct defined in the Community terms and conditions.
Overall product rating
The total star rating of a product corresponds to the average of all submitted product ratings.
Verification of users
Only customers who are registered on Galaxus or digitec.ch can enter reviews. A review prominently marked with «purchased this product» additionally verifies that a review was submitted after the product was purchased from us.
Abusive ratings
The Community Management Team is responsible for moderating and systematically checking all Community content for authenticity on our websites. The team monitors customer dialogue and represents our company values in the Community. Misleading, false or manipulative reviews are not acceptable on Galaxus. All users can mark them as «abusive» and report them. The Community Management Team reserves the right to delete such ratings and comments. Go to our Community terms and conditions.
Frequent keywords
Keyword summary is a function that uses artificial intelligence to highlight the advantages and disadvantages frequently mentioned in product reviews. To give you a quick overview, up to three frequent keywords are displayed. Various factors are taken into account, including the overall rating, the topicality and the number of «helpful» ratings from the Community.
