is there a usb charging station (not battery included?) If so, can I also use it to charge older Philips sonicare brushes e.g. 3100, 5100? or are they not compatible with each other? Many thanks for any answers :-)

Helpful answer

It is not charging-compatible with my old case. The shape of the handpiece is also slightly different, so it doesn't quite fit in.

Unfortunately, the 3100, 5100 and 7300 toothbrushes are not compatible with the DiamondClean 9000 and DiamondClean Smart chargers. We recommend using the charger that comes with your Philips Sonicare toothbrush.

Can someone possibly answer the question the other way round?
Can I also charge a 5100, 7300 etc. with the usb charging station, e.g. the 3100?
Are they compatible with each other. It's not really clearly described on the philips site.
