Do the charging glass and the other charging station always have to be plugged in to charge the toothbrush or do you charge these stations and can then charge the toothbrush without a cable (similar to Airpods or similar, where you charge the case and the case then charges the headphones without being plugged in)?

The charging stations for the Philips Sonicare toothbrushes, such as the charging glass or the normal charging station, must always be connected to charge the toothbrush. There is no function that allows you to charge the stations and then charge the toothbrush without a cable, similar to AirPods. The toothbrush itself has a battery life of up to two weeks, but the charging stations themselves do not store energy to charge the toothbrush without a cable.
