The devices work with all of them. I'm looking for one without these plastic attachments, the prongs break or crack and then you're out of luck. I have read that there are supposed to be "Wahl Premium Metal Guards" but have not found them.

What shoes (accessories) are supplied with this mower? Are there 6 shoes as in the second picture or 8 shoes with the silver plate as in the third picture?
