Hello, indeed I too have been looking for travel cases - without success. Luckily, someone just offered two cases on Ricardo.ch, which solved my problem. So good luck with your search!
You get:
1xBody White, 1xBody Black, 1xcharging station with glass gold-pink, 1xcharging station black with attachment. Unfortunately, I don't know how many brushes I received. I think it was four or six
The charging stations for the Philips Sonicare toothbrushes, such as the charging glass or the normal charging station, must always be connected to charge the toothbrush. There is no function that allows you to charge the stations and then charge the toothbrush without a cable, similar to AirPods. The toothbrush itself has a battery life of up to two weeks, but the charging stations themselves do not store energy to charge the toothbrush without a cable.
The toothbrush does not weigh 500 grams. Unfortunately, I have not found an exact weight specification in the available data. However, one online retailer lists a weight of 1.220 kg, which is obviously a mistake as this would be far too heavy for a toothbrush. Normally, electric toothbrushes weigh around 100 to 200 grams.
It is the same product.
We source our products from different suppliers to ensure availability as far as possible. As soon as a supplier does not have the item in stock, we switch to a supplier with higher availability. Each supplier offers different prices, so there may be price differences. There can be various reasons for this, such as higher purchase prices for smaller quantities or additional import costs. We therefore work with daily prices. See here: galaxus.ch/en/wiki/6028
In the double pack, all components are duplicated, so you don't have to share any parts. Each toothbrush has its own brush heads and accessories, which means you don't have to share the cable. Each toothbrush can be charged and used independently.
The box includes a single toothbrush, available in white or black. I don't have precise information about a possible offer including two toothbrushes, one white and one black, for this specific model. However, some offers may include several brushes, but this has not been confirmed for the HX9914/61 model.
The travel case for the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 uses a USB-A connection, not USB-C. It can be connected to a laptop or power socket with a USB cable.
Not a question, more a comment. It was recommended to me by a dentist, who immediately gave me a golden tip that saved me money. Be sure to remove the chip (at the bottom of the brush head). After a certain time, the brush only provides 1 stroke of power! The chip in the brush head communicates with the body. If you remove it, you will have endless pleasure, clean teeth and neither a hole in your wallet nor in your tooth. I have my brush head for an average of 6-12 months. (No problem according to the dentist! As long as you don't press like a wild man, which you don't have to do here).
I have been using the Sonicare Diamond Clean series for 6 years - I am now on my 3rd defect, one of which was replaced by Philipps. The company's attitude to these incidents is unbelievable: 3x this product has stopped working after 23 to 25 months. The advice of the support is very simple - buy the warranty extension as well, the toothbrush cannot be repaired. To that extent, I was offered a 25% discount code - but I have to buy a new unit.
This is a high-end product! However, the company doesn't give a ... The company doesn't give a damn about environmental protection and only knows how to respond to the objection that the battery is an environmental burden: just buy a new one, this time with an extended warranty.
A question about the warranty and the extension to five years: are damaged batteries and loss of performance covered? Does the warranty also cover the replacement device?
I ask because I have already bought a Sonicare DiamondClean three times (!) + received a replacement unit. And four times, more or less after the warranty expired, either the battery or the brush head was defective (as soon as the brush touches the teeth, it hardly moves... even a manual toothbrush is more effective then).
If the toothbrush works perfectly, it is worth the money. But the fact that it doesn't even last 1-2 years without problems at a price of 165 - 200 CHF is actually almost bordering on fraud. And it's a little hard for me to believe that I've simply had bad luck four times.
That's why I'd like to know if the two problems I mentioned, which apparently don't just happen to me on a regular basis, are covered by the extended warranty and if I don't have to worry about something like this happening again for five years?
The battery lasts around 14 days with normal use (cleaning twice a day), and up to 22 to 33 days when tested, depending on the cleaning mode and intensity. This corresponds to around 28 to 66 brushing sessions without recharging. This means you don't necessarily have to take the charging glass or case with you on a week-long trip, as the battery will last this long without any problems. The included charging case also makes it easy to recharge via USB when travelling if you do need to charge.
The glass charging station of the DiamondClean 9000 is specially designed for this model and similar Philips Sonicare products. It is not clear whether it also supports other models such as the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5100. The glass charging base is usually optimised for the DiamondClean series and compatibility with other models may vary. It would be advisable to consult the official Philips documentation or customer service to ensure that the charging station is compatible with other models.
