The two variants of the Philips 7000 series shaver with the manufacturer numbers S7887/35 and S7886/35 differ mainly in some functions and features.
The S7886/35 has a Bluetooth connection to the Philips GroomTribe app, an advanced SkinIQ sensor, an informative display and automatic beard density detection and child lock. It also has an in-built trimmer and is waterproof.
The S7887/35, on the other hand, also offers a movable shaving head, self-sharpening blades, a cleaning indicator and comes with a charging station, USB-A cable and hard case, but has no Bluetooth function or SkinIQ sensor. Both models have a battery life of 60 minutes and a charging time of 60 minutes.
To summarise, the S7886/35 is the technically more modern version with app connection and additional sensors, while the S7887/35 is the classic version with proven shaving technology.
The Philips Series 7000 S7882/55 shaver can be charged via a USB cable, but there is no indication that it can be charged directly with an ordinary plug in the bathroom. The device uses a lithium-ion battery and is charged via the USB charging cable supplied.
