Yes, I also have this "problem". But I am much more bothered by the fact that the water tank is only enough for half of the teeth to be cleaned ;)

I have had the oral irrigator for 2 years now and have had no problems with it until then. I don't check whether the battery is empty or not, I just charge the part when I notice that the water jet pressure is getting less.
