Question for buyers of this device: Was the TMC receiver really included? Unfortunately, the Tomtom hotline did not confirm this or said that only a normal car charger is included (without TMC receiver).

If you buy the TomTom in a country where TMC is transmitted, the antenna / receiver is integrated in the 12 V adapter.
If you operate directly via USB, you have no TMC reception.
With the app you have exact live traffic updates as with the GO 5200 (attention abroad - data consumption).

It was included with mine. It is integrated in the car charger. Tomtom even has a picture of it on its homepage. It looks exactly like this.
