Is this attachment adaptable with the IXO 3? Is a basic drilling set also supplied with the attachment? (Explicitly stated as such with other suppliers)

I don't think so, check out the manufacturer's site here:

According to Bosch, only the IXO drill attachment is included in the scope of delivery.
