Question about Grundig Fenster- und Türalarm

Great description ... but unfortunately it is not clear how the part works. Is there a magnet for it? Or is there a light barrier inside? Or does the device react to vibrations? This "product description" marketing blubber is a colossal pain in the arse. A few facts would be much more helpful ...

The Grundig window and door alarm with acoustic signal works by means of a magnet. The device consists of two parts: a main unit and a magnet. When the door or window is opened and the magnet is separated from the main unit, this triggers the alarm. There is no light barrier or vibration sensors on this model
