Good day, I have an Audi a3 where I have already installed a Pioneer avhx3700 double DIN and connected it with a canbus cable. is it possible to simply replace this radio without making any major changes?

This should not be a problem. If you have already installed a double DIN radio, then you have already installed an adapter cable that fits the supplied connection cable from the Kenwood.
