Does this socket also work in outdoor boxes (for monitoring systems)? No. This means that the timer will be subjected to sub-zero temperatures. Is the timer remotely programmable?

This socket works remotely, however it is intended for indoor use. It is therefore not compatible with sub-zero temperatures.
