It fits on a construction site hoover such as Festo or similar without an adapter. For a "normal" household hoover, the Fein part is somewhat smaller. If there is an adapter, this would certainly be worthwhile. Otherwise, adhesive tape is also sufficient to prevent the hoover tube from slipping away.
